Story 1 by Karen Davidson
My first experience with what I believe in my heart was divine intervention was when our oldest son David was just 2 years old. We lived in a small community in Colorado at the time and I was expecting our second child in a couple of months. The street we lived on was not much more than one lane wide and at the top of a hill. Since none of the houses there had driveways we all parked in front of our houses, leaving even less road to drive on. At night many of us would come out fora chat. One evening I was standing just across from our house talking with a neighbor and our son was playing with his toy car at my feet.
Shortly we heard a car coming up the hill and I immediately looked down for David but he had run across the street. The car was coming rather fast and I knew if I said anything to David he would immediately come running over and into the path of the car so I held my breath and prayed but the lady I was talking with yelled for David to stay there, Of course being a typical 2 year old, he immediately started running our way. It was at that moment the car topped the hill. The driver saw us and slammed on his brakes with tires squalling and came to stop between us and David. I just knew he had been run over and my feet were frozen to the concrete. Finally I ran around the car as the driver was coming out, already apologizing and saying he didn't see him til it was too late. But when I got around the car, there sat David on the edge of the street, just inches from where the tires had crossed. For no apparent reason, he simply sat down right before the car could hit him. I picked him up and held him so tight. I knew in my heart that his guardian angel sat him down that night. He had a purpose in life that wasn't fulfilled yet. He is now a nurse in our local nursing home, is married to a lovely lady and they have 2 beautiful children.
Story 2 by Karen Davidson
A few years ago, I had a good friend that I corresponded with daily over the internet. She was a very dear lady with a very bad heart. She never let on how sick she was when we chatted though, always concerned about how I was doing. I helped her build her website, which she was so determined to get finished with lots of angels on it. She loved angels and said many times that when the Lord called her home, she would be a angel and couldn't wait to fly. We got her webpage finished finally and she loved it.
At that time, I was working on a mural with another artist. It was on a wall in a baptismal pool at a local church. We would talk about it and often she said how she would love to see it so I promised I would take a picture of it and send it to her.
I had never met Joan, but we were as close as sisters after awhile and I looked forward to talking to her over ICQ on a daily basis. One morning I got a message from her daughter that Joan had passed away in her sleep. I was devastated as if I had lost a close relative. I cried all afternoon and just couldn't seem to shake the depression. Here was a lady I had never met in person and didn't even know what she looked like, but we had shared more with each other than most real relatives.
The next day we were working on the mural and I just couldn't get Joan off my mind. I really wasn't in the mood to paint that day and still depressed. The church was supposed to be locked up everywhere except for the door we came in, so we had the place to ourselves. As we were painting, I noticed suddenly that there was some light coming from a hallway off to the left. I asked my partner if there was a window there and she didn't think so. I went out to the hallway and there was a door standing wide open. There was no breeze outside to blow it open and when I checked it was locked.
I closed the door and went out into the sanctuary to get an overall look at the mural and it suddenly came to me. I knew Joan was there. I motioned to the mural and asked,"Well, how to do you like it Joan?" Of course my partner didn't understand so I explained it to her. I felt like I was walking on air after that. All the depression had lifted and I felt wonderful. I was truely blessed that day when an angel paid me a visit.

I was in the habit of waking up at daybreak, but being a morning breakfast cook, I had to leave for work well before dawn. I was driving to work one morning along a deserted road. All of a sudden I felt something or someone tap me on the shoulder. It woke me up. I had fallen asleep at the wheel and was about to veer off the road. I thank God every day that I didn't have an accident. I believe God really cares about me personally and it makes me feel good all over.

Story 4 by Roberta Krchnavy, N.D.
Out on the now deserted farm where I grew up, there is a special guardian angel. I have checked with the previous family who dates back to homesteading days and, in all these years, there has never been a serious accident. This is remarkable since farming is a dangerous occupation.
Recently my father, who is now 86, came close to rolling his pickup truck off the road. But some mysterious force stopped it. The same think happened when an axle broke on his tractor years ago.
But I believe the greatest miracle was when Daddy was pulling a farm wagon behind the tractor. He was just reaching to shift into road gear when he felt a gentle tap on his left shoulder. The04 N Walnut Ave Demopolis AL, 36732 1-877-FOR-ART5 or 334-289-2930
