Initial Rough Sketch to develop general shape and proportion

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Slowly add more shading and contrast around the eyes

 and separate the face area from the hair line and neck.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I continue to build up the shapes in the eyes and

start adding shading to bring out each area more.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The last touches are simply refining my shading and

adding final contrast and lines to hair and clothes. Make sure shading in eyes are correct.
